  • Sterela finalizes its model approval for WIM AWCS homologation.

    For over a year, STERELA has been committed to the approval of its GLOBAL WIM dynamic weighing solution, with the aim of carrying out automatic weight control and sanction.
    The metrological qualification is coming to an end and gives complete satisfaction in terms of performance. After one year of road tests in real traffic conditions, Sterela is getting closer to the issue of model approval (homologation) with the Belgian authorities.
    This project testifies to the innovative character and the know-how of STERELA in the field of dynamic weighing of road transport vehicles.
    STERELA is also participating in various working groups with the French authorities on the same subject.

    As a reminder: this project was partially funded by the Région Occitanie as part of an Innovation contract.

    Faced with the Covid-19 epidemic, Sterela remains engaged with companies and their employees while respecting the government measures in force.

    We cancel all participation in public events until the situation has settled down and things have come back to normal.

    The 8th International Conference on Weigh-In-Motion

    ICWIM8 will be held as a series of scientific and technical sessions, a few panel discussions and some "end-users' forums" where the end-users will get information about the best practices and the application of WIM data, and WIM vendors and consultants will present their solutions.
    The conference is designed to address the broad range of technical topics related to heavy vehicles and weight and size measurement systems, providing access to current research and best practices, freight analysis, and related policy issues. It is a multi-disciplinary, inter-agency supported event.The hosts are ISWIM and CDV.
